Q. IS IT POSSIBLE TO SETTLE THE EPF/EPS/NPS/LIC CLAIMS WITH IN HOURS?
A. Yes it is possible. To settle any type of claim forms EPF/EPS/NPS, few hours are more than enough for the 'Employees Provident fund Organisation' and other Departments. But today , to settle the claim forms the PF department is taking about 30 to 365 days. Due to not collecting proper information at the time joining members and not maintaining of proper records of members. Besides to this, for small things like Employer / Bank Manager/ Employee signatures/Notary attestations/ Affidavits/Bank Account details/ Aadhaar card etc., they are delaying to settle the claims.
For example, to settle the ' Superannuation Claim form ' , why the EPF department require the 3 family group photos, why they require ' non employment certificate ' on Rs.10/- non-judicial stamp paper, why notary attestation, what is the necessary 3 family group photos, why employer or Bank manager signature. It is the hard earned money of a member (employee). For the employee services , the employer has deposited. Then the the story was end. Only , now the EPF department has to identify, like a Bank, the Member. That is possible with his/her application signature and Adhar card / Voter card/PAN card/bank Pass Book etc., at the discretion of the final Assessing officer. Why un necessary delay , complications for all these documents, to settle the claims? INDIA should move with the paper less transactions.

Like a Bank , after submitting the KYC, the concerned departments must maintain the employee details and settle the claims immediately without harassment/trouble and without delay. practically, employees are suffering so lot, months together to get their hard earned EPF/EPS amounts. This is just like sweat of members.
To simplify the procedure and easy & quickly settle the EPF/EPS/NPS claims with in hours, as under:
01. A request letter on plain paper with all details or
printed form.
02. In case of EPS, a 'original scheme certificate' or 'Affidavit' if they
lost,
03. Bank pass book xerox
04. Aadhar card Xerox .
The above are more than enough to settle any type of claims with in hours. Today we are in 'Digital era'. We are trying for paper less 'Digital system'. But , why the EPF department is asking lot of documents and why the department 30 to 365 days , no body knows.
We are aware that today the Banks are settling any type of Drafts, Bonds,Fixed Deposits and saving account withdrawal with in minutes. Then why it is not possible to the EPF/NPS/LIC Departments?
With the Adhar card
number the Department concerned may identify the member and release the PF amount, since the Department already taken the KYC and all the records of the members.
With Aadhar card number only, very few officers can settle all the
issues in all over India. So that the Govt. can also save crores of administrative
cost, by removing unnecessary staff.
Here, only the higher authority has to authenticate, whether the member is genuine or not with the application and details available with the 'Organisation'. Any how the amount is going to member Bank account only.
But, today the Departments are complicating the
issue(s), with the un necessary reasons and suffering members months together.
We hope the Departments concerned will consider to implement this suggestion.
