Q. IS IT POSSIBLE TO REDUCE THE ELECTRICITY/CURRENT OR POWER BILL?

A. IDEAS TO SAVE THE ELECTRICITY / CURRENT / POWER:

1.Must use branded wiring in the houses and Industries.

2.Stop manufacturing of  high power consumed appliances viz., Bulbs, Tubes, Electric cookers etc.,

3.Supply  low voltage, long life and high brighten 'CFL'  Bulbs at lower prices to all the people of India and collect back high votage bulbs and Tubes etc.

4.Instal 'Solar power' plants and 'Bio gas' plants in each and every village. For installation, may be high cost initially,but these will give longer life low maintenance cost for water heating, rice cooking, for lighting and for Street lights.

5.Immediately stop the current (direct and indirect) theftings in urban and rural areas and take necessary actions to encourage honest and genuine people as well as to save the current.

6.In any type of savings, women are the best savers in domestic appliances. Hence, create the awareness about the electricity importance and how to save the power etc., in the public, especially in the women.To create the awareness in women, give adds in T.V channals and FM radios at their leisure timings to concentrate on adds. Today nobody have the time read the news papers.So don't spend more money on News papers adds.

7.Convince the people to constuct the new houses to free fall of sunlight rays and free flow of fresh air. So that they may not consume more power for lighting , Air and cooling.

8.To improve the eletricity saving stratargy,must rationalise the units prices to encourage the honest and genuine people as well as to save the current by the poor people (Domestic), as under (Dt.01.04.2016):

Like wise, catogory ll and catogory lll  units prices may be changed to encourage the honest and genuine people and low current users and current savers.

9.Arrange the electricity billings in central level at exact period and remove the  customer charges.So  that the people maintain  savings to not to cross their pre planned slabs and to minimise their bills.

10.Generally in domestic levels, the high power  consuming appliances are Air conditioners,Refrigirators, washing machines, Grinders, Electric cookers, Iron Boxes, Ovens, Mixies, televisions,Tape recorders, DVD players, Air coolers,Fans, computers, Laptaps, sewing Machines high votage Bulbs and Tubes etc. so every one must feel to buy  all  branded and original appliances only.Must use as and when essentially required only.Though it is our money, we must save the power at the interest of the Nation.

11.Do not switch on related appliances at the same  time. For example, A.C, Air cooler and fan. Television, DVD, F.M Radio and Tape recorder etc. Completely take out  flugs from the electric boards, while sleeping and while going out full day except Refrigirators and UPSs.

12. Minimise the use of eletricity at the time functions, festivals and traditional occations.

13.Current theftings must be controlled.

14. Do not leave any single person or family ( Poor or Rich) or  corporate organisation or  leader or minister or society or gov.ment to escape from eletricity billing system. 

15. Introduce pre paid electricity cards system,  like., Sun Direct re charge, prepaid cell recharge, Pre paid Inter net  etc., So that the people can able control  un necessary usage of lights, Domestic appliances , fans and heating of water etc., and  their expenses. If they don't require , they may stop re charging of current card for that particular period. By the same time others may require more current and they may use without any power cut problem. The charges must be as per the pre determined slabs only. Over all current also will be saved.
